Topic: redirect when used mobile device You can use the following .htaccess script on your server to detect and redirect traffic for mobile users. This is what I’ve been using for over a year to redirect moble viewers to my UBIK.com page. Try it yourself: www.dj-kaydee.com redirects automatically to m.dj-kaydee.com when viewed from a mobile device :) |

Topic: redirect when used mobile device hello, per the other thread discussing this topic recently – we plan to add this feature, but don’t have timeline for it available yet. It’ll be announced as new feature once it’s available for sure. |

Topic: error sending message I created a message page on one of my web sites but when testing it on my Sony Ericsson K800i I get a message “Sorry The requested item could not be loaded! (Status Code 500)” I’m sure I set the page up correctly. The site is http://annagregory.ubik.net Any ideas? |

Topic: Edit I agree Jakes. Ubik is awesome and the people behind the scenes are very dedicated and helpful. They are really working hard to offer a top notch service. I’m still learning how to utilize everything offered here, and look forward to new features and enhancements coming in the future. Hope you can get your issue worked out soon. Regards, |

Topic: Edit Jakes, Also try disabling the firewall in your internet security program after you log on to ubik but before you start to edit your site. See if that makes a difference. It could be interfering with it as I’ve experienced. Bruce |

Topic: call link I test it on a blackberry 8350. it will recognize #’s entered as text with no problem. If I create a call link, and when I click on it with my blackberry, it will put the ‘01’ in front of number, then I get a message that int’l phone #’s are not supported on my service. I didn’t do anything to do initiate the ‘01’. Bruce |

Topic: call link I tried to set up a number using your Call Link option, but when I put in phone number as you require, then go online and click on Call link, your program puts an 01 in front of number. Needless to say, the call won’t connect. I’m in the U.S.A., and the format I used is +1231231234. (There are no dashes, just numbers per your requirement.) Also, I can’t remove the + sign. I can enter the number on the page without using the Call Link option and it will dial correctly. So I figure it’s something with your configuration that is automatically entering the prefix 01. Please advise, |

Topic: Redirect We have on our roadmap a feature to provide a special widget to be placed on a PC site which will be able to detect if an accessing device is a mobile phone and redirect to a mobile site in such a case. It has not been implemented yet. Once it is available I will let you know. |
