Do you offer traffic stats (preferred) or a hit counter that could be placed on my home page?

Hi,

at the moment traffic stats are not available. We have it on long term roadmap, but no schedule yet.

How about adding the option for Google Analytics? You could create an option where we could drop in the code for the analytics.

Since Google Analytics is free, and I have to create the actual code (users have to create a Google account to use this service), UBIK wouldn’t have any licensing issues with Google. All you’re doing is creating the ‘space’ so we can input the code. Even Google says you can use a ‘template’ for this service.

According to Google, here is an example of code that would need to be inputted so you can check for compatibility:

_Basic installation – Copy and paste the code segment into the bottom of your content, immediately before the </body> tag of each page you are planning to track. If you use a common include or template, you can enter it there.

So what do you think? If you’d like to set something up and have me test it, I’d be happy to volunteer.

google analytics will be most likely the way to do traffic stats when we implement it – as i mentioned before, we have it planned, but no schedule at the moment.

We’re in beta, which means not all features we’d like to have are available, traffic stats being one of them. As i mentioned in previous post – we want to add this when possible.

Actually we have at least basic stats available already – there’s advertising tab in your user profile, which is based on traffic data as well.

I wish you guys can get a hit counter for the ubik sites.

I see you say the Advertiseing will give us traffic stats….Isn’t that measured by how many times someone clicks on an add? I mean if 1000 people visit my site and only 1 person clicks on an add then the other 999 are unaccounted for, correct? So I really would not say…

Hi,

the first column in advertising stats (Total Inventory) is actually the visits count.

As I mentioned before, this is just a temporary solution for stats/tracking.
