I was wondering if any one’s pages are showing up in any of the search engines?

Sites created by Mobilizer are accessible to browsers so they should be accessible to web crawlers as well. However to have a site showing in the search engines, a site must get indexed. You may want to add a mobile site URL to the search engine. For example: http://www.google.com/addurl/

Here is the query showing all the pages from published mobilizer sites indexed by Google: click

Not so many pages yet, but we need to give Google time to index them.

I added the UBIK URL to the .com website version so hopefully that will help get the UBIK site noticed.

We have code to automatically add google sitemaps when publishing. It’s one of the new features we plan to switch on in the next month or so.

Having sitemaps support has nothing to do with getting indexed. That’s like pouring water in the dirt and hoping a seed will drop to grow a plant. You need to proactively submit URLs to Google to inform their crawlers that you want to get indexed. Geez.

Well, we let the actual submission to users, as the site is their property and their decision if the it should be easily discovered by search engines and visitors. For personal sites, users might actually prefer that sites are somewhat hidden.

Hi!
How I know so far we have to insert HTML code into home page for submission to Google. Is it possible to do, if we do not have access to code? Could you clarify this, please?
Another question is XML sitemap. When I published the site I saved XML sitemap on the hard drive. What should I do next with XML sitemap?
Thank you.

Hi,

to add site to google to crawl you don’t need any active code on the site itself, there’s just simple form to sumbit the site URL here – http://www.google.com/addurl/

The XML sitemap can’t be used with google webmaster tools right now, as there’s no way to verify the site using the google code.
